Wonderfull! Professionally matted medical plate from a circa 1928 Anatomy and Physiology text book. Highly detailed illustration. Somewhat disturbing, but still can spruce up any den, dining room or lab area.
The plates were meant as a medical aid and study of the the body from a medical stand point.  Physiology is the study of the function of body parts and the body as a whole. Some specializations within each of these sciences follow: Gross (macroscopic) anatomyis the study of body parts visible to the naked eye, such as the heart or bones.
Each measures approx. 4” tall x 5-1/2” wide on a larger white mat 13" x 14", and is  suitable for framing, or for use in your dark and unusual projects.
