Art Deco Spider Web Vintage Pendant on Onyx & Tourmaline, Artisan Ooak Necklace

Ooak Matte Black Onyx, Rough Tourmalkne & Art Deco Pendant Statement Necklace. I created this stunning statement necklace for my Only by Lisa line. The idea started when I found a beautiful vintage Art Deco belt buckle. The piece is either black celluloid or another early plastic, I am not sure which, and silver plate. I was attracted, in part, the bold shape but mostly by the intricate spider and spider web design in the silver plated portion. I was determined to upcycle it and finally hit upon the combination of round, matte black onyx with rough black tourmaline. I finished with a large, hand hammered Thai Hill Tribe silver clasp. The clasp’s design reminded me of the spider webs. It is 970 silver, higher than the 925 of Sterling silver. The findings are sterling. There are scratches in the black areas of the pendant commensurate with its age. The bead portion is 18” and the pendant is 3” tall and 2.5” wide. Free shipping via USPS First Class Mail.
